note...spelling and grammer is senders own and names XXX to protect the guilty
XXX/XXX-
Please confirm this the data that we were looking for from last week's internal meetings:
XXX- educational institutions for the conversion effort (these are just the ones that (deleted client name) is currently using in staffing system 4/1)
XXX- locations - I believe this was the followup to verify valid values for locations with XXX. (not sure if this is the correct dump)
Thanks,
XXX
and
the document is upto date as its what we presented to the client last week, and Jim's captured all there feedback. The document does not indicate (atleast not clearly) approval level, just the primary/ secondary initiator for the processes.
and the sort of stuff I send looks like...
Hi XXX, any update on this?
XXX indicated today that we could view anything that did not exist on R2 or R3 as a customization (unless all three clients wanted it, then it might turn into base), but we could still do with some sort of estimate for the requirements consultants.
and
Hi XXX,
We would like to explore a couple of potential customizations (they might be configurations if we're real lucky but we're not holding our breath).
In the termination processes we currently plan on using 37 separation reasons for Client, of which 6 are base.
We've checked with XXX and we understand that the base functionality (only filters on Involuntary Severance and LOA as Termination reasons when the Contingent Worker Controller selects Termination as the reason for change.
In the event that the client may require either a sub-set or none of the 37 reason when they chose Termination, what are our options?
Can we filter and only use a subset, and how big a customization will this be?
Can we somehow turn off all the Termination reason list and only allow eligible, ineligible and ineligible with override, so that this status can still be attached?
Please give me a call if my questions are not clear.
so now you know...and oddly enough, most days i like my job too!
